Beyond our theories and frameworks to model the world using 
Protocols and other mechanisms, there is one thing that is not explicitly modeled into software: the fact that nature exists, and processes, reactions, and outcomes are dependent on the inherent nature of the actors in question.
This provides a key guarantee that is required for prediction models to work - that if the same thing were to happen again, the outcome would be the same or similar. This is the notion of gaining experience (captured as knowledge) and applied later on using a decision making framework.
Repeatability
So the notion of repeatability is an important one, and without basic repetition within all levels of the universe, data and predictions have no value. We rely on these axioms, we rely on the nature of things, and indeed we rely on nature itself to be the overall runtime environment where all members of the 
Network may thrive.
Axioms
What are the other fundamental truths that one can rely upon? A few come to mind: that individuals act in a self-interested manner. That collectives are nature's way to create strength through unity. That there is an overarching intelligence factor that can be relied upon when humans are involved in decision making. They predictably climb their way up Maslow's hierarchy, and then look for purpose and self-actualization.
Specific axioms are aspects of nature and can be relied upon to provide repeatability.
Individuals
Each individual on the planet is attached to their own identity and act in their own self-interest. This can take a few forms, but in particular fame and fortune are the easiest to measure and most widely accepted. Of course, fortune can be used to buy fame and famous people can leverage their networks to make a fortune. All other abstract emotions such as love and greed and fear are also basic drivers propelling all human actors towards various goals.
Regardless of what the ultimate use is for the accumulated money and fame, one can rely on the fundamental ego principle that drives individuals into taking any action. In that way, Awake is focused on creating seamless commerce where everyone fits naturally and thrives in their own way. One may also call it organic commerce.
Collectives
Individuals create networks and live and work collectively. This can be seen across all of nature, across the microbial, the plant, and the animal kingdoms. Natural activity across nodes and networks include creating new ideas and techniques, sharing know how and experience, and exchanging physical materials.
This natural activity goes on across all networks of the animal and machine kingdoms. Awake Protocols describe ways in which this natural activity is digitized and the value co-created automatically and fairly shared across the participants involved.
Intelligence
What creates the profit motive? Why do people like profit over loss, good over bad?
Natural intelligence or just intelligence is the abstract force that drives all decision making, and is another word for nature. The axiom of axioms is Intelligence, or is the natural protocol protocol, for Intelligence is the ultimate cause for anything to happen.
We do not need to model Intelligence, we can rely on it being present at all points of time and space. We design artificial intelligence, but recognize that it is Intelligence that determines whether an AI works or not. This is the reason that Awake ultimately builds AI and FinTech platforms in service of human beings and human intelligence.
Maslow
Human beings have needs that go from the basic needs of their physical bodies to the fulfillment and actualization needs of their spiritual bodies.
Climbing the ladder of needs is a natural human endeavor, and one can rely on this universal journey. Businesses need to recognize and place people in the right stages within the right contexts of their lives, and cater to their needs as directly appropriate.
Self-Actualization
Facilitating the fulfillment of human potential can lead to the most natural and valuable business endeavors. The Creator Economy is an example of this, and Awake believes that the creator economy is the passion economy, which is the Entrepreneurship Economy.
Human beings have limitless potential, and harnessing the raw human power of human passions can co-create value for the whole planet.
Nature is Ultimate
And while it is possible to co-create very large Internet platforms that may harness even the whole of human civilization, one can never forget that nature is greater and is the ultimate force and the ultimate judge.
We as humans must build towards a better future but remember to stay humble in the face of Reality and remember our duty towards each other and towards our shared planet.
