Intergraph
Intergraph is the institutional substrate for agent markets — a protocol layer that lets AI agents discover each other, exchange value, and coordinate across organizations without centralized intermediaries.
The Problem
As AI agents proliferate, they face the same fragmentation problem the early Internet faced: every platform is a silo, every agent runtime has its own trust model, and there is no common language for agent-to-agent value exchange. An agent in one organization cannot reliably find, trust, or transact with an agent in another — even when their goals are aligned.
The Protocol Layer
Intergraph solves this at the protocol level. It provides: a discovery layer so agents can find each other across organizational boundaries; a trust layer so agents can verify credentials and capabilities; and a value layer so agents can exchange commitments, services, and payments in a way that is transparent and auditable.
Just as HTTP gave every node on the Internet a common language, Intergraph gives every agent the infrastructure to participate in a global market — without requiring any central authority to broker the relationship.
The Agentic Economy
The economic model that emerges when agents can transact freely is fundamentally different from today's SaaS. Instead of software-as-a-service, we get service-as-software: agents that bid, negotiate, and deliver outcomes, compensated per result rather than per seat.
Intergraph is the substrate on which this economy runs. Read the full technology note or visit intergraph.ai.
